TRAINING: Our 3×3 Knowledge matrix is now available in CANADA and AUSTRALIA as well as the UK and USA. See below for dates or click here for full details.
SERVICE: THOR lasers have been sold in over 50 countries since 1993 and still going strong. That’s because we provide engineering support for even the oldest models here in the UK. Now this service is available in Canada and USA with Australia soon to follow. For maintenance on your THOR laser click here for full details.
PetTHOR: Treatment protocols, training and support is now available for small animal vets in the USA who want to improve healing and reduce pain in companion pets. Based in Boston MA, USA is a small team dedicated to this specialist topic. Click here for full details.
Mechanism Conference: The American Society for Photobiology (ASP) has developed an interest in LLLT and are holding a conference to explore the scientific evidence for the photobiological mechanisms behind LLLT – from molecular biology to cell and tissue level and to review those clinical results. Click here for full details. Very much looking forward to that one.
The Future of LLLT: The Institute of Physics asked us to write an article on LLLT, where did it come from, where is it going and what are the challenges. Published this month you can get a sneak preview. Click here.
THOR training courses: Most clinicians are confused about which “dose” or technique will work for pain and tissue regeneration. Laser can inhibit as well as stimulate, but the laser intensity, treatment times and techniques for achieving these effects are not clear to everybody. This course will teach tissue healing, anti inflammatory effects & analgesic action of LLLT. The mechanism of action by which those effects are achieved and the treatment methods for delivering them.
Should you use laser or LED?
Red or infrared wavelengths?
A strong or a low power laser?
Pulses or continuous?
Treat twice a day or twice a month?
Attend the new THOR laser training course to learn our new 3×3 LLLT Knowledge Matrix and answer those questions.
You will also learn: Parameters (Dose), Safety, Contraindications, and DoH / FDA regulations.
A 50 page illustrated booklet and certificate of attendance are provided. $400 / £150 Click here to register.
